10K, half marathon & Marathon training
intraining’s three core sessions for Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K training, Ultra and Triathlons
The intraining sessions help you learn how to train for marathons, and half marathons using PACING strategies that will have you running faster, stronger and with confidence.
You can be confident that if you follow an intraining running in a race they’ll know how how to pace well.
You don’t need to be fast… you just need to come along and join a supportive community.

Tuesday Speed Sessions
At TUESDAY SPEED you’ll learn how to:
- pace well for your races
- run at specific speeds with confidence
- improve your running form
- use recovery and fast training to improve your running
The sessions are pre-planned to improve your running progressively across the year.
You can join anytime, and don’t need to be fast!! We love to help all speeds, from the slower to the speedy runner.
Our qualified coaches will help you modify the sessions to suit your run fitness.

Thursday Threshold Sessions
Threshold sessions are key to improve your anaerobic threshold.
Training around threshold pace helps you:
- Learn how to run between 10km and half marathon race pace.
- train to longer reps at lower intensity and with minimal recovery.
- improve your running economy.
“Anaerobic Threshold pace is where there is a significant increase in the rate of lactate accumulation. It is where a slightly faster pace will significantly reduce duration of activity.” Steve Manning, intraining coaching director, Level 3 Coach.

THURSDAY TRACK - SHORT REP SPEED SESSIONS
The Thursday Morning Track Group is a speed session that complements the Tuesday Intraining Speed session. It is a second speed session of shorter repetitions at higher intensity. You will like this if:
- You are aiming for shorter races
- Want to get faster over longer races
- Are training for track or cross country
- Love the shorter reps

SUNDAY LONG RUNS
- build strength and endurance
- give time on your feet
- give support with a friendly community of runners.
The intraining club organises regular Sunday long runs usually with support on course.
There’s a pace for everyone. Come and join us! Your first run is free.
